...So who's doing great things in small packages? Why not start with MSN, who
recently used an Oddcast avatar on one of their "Mother" microsites, as
part of the "MSN Mother of All Shopping" campaign. The microsite, which
went live on November 15th (in time to snag online holiday shoppers),
allows visitors to interact with the likeness of Partridge Family
matriarch Shirley Jones, whose avatar sympathizes, "I know, like most of
you, what it feels like to have a few too many people to shop for come
holiday season." Go to the microsite to view "Gift List" options,
including: For the Ladies, Just Guys, Boys and Girls and The Passionate
Ones. Click on the subheading that best describes your giftee and you'll
be redirected to the MSN Shopping channel--which announced only days before
the "Mother" debuted that it was launching a new set of shopping
comparison tools (among other features)...
