Oddcast Bolsters VHost Technology With NeoSpeech TTS Languages
Wireless News, September 14, 2004

NeoSpeech, a provider of speech technologies for hand-held, desktop and network applications, and Oddcast, a developer and distributor of conversational character software products, on Tuesday announced that NeoSpeech's VoiceText Text-to-Speech engine has been integrated with Oddcast's VHost™ technology.

Oddcast said its VHost software enables companies to improve business results by bringing web and wireless content to life through conversational agents. By integrating NeoSpeech's Text-to-Speech technology, Oddcast said the conversational characters can interact with customers and employees via online advertising campaigns, customer service applications, e-learning systems, and mobile devices, and through many other technology driven platforms.

"Our customers are looking for a way to engage clients and differentiate their business," said Adi Sideman, CEO of Oddcast. "By incorporating NeoSpeech's Text-to-Speech engine into our VHost™ products, customers can have access to a larger variety of voices and languages to deliver dynamic character speech. VoiceText provides a crisp, human-like voice. Its quality is truly amazing."
